COVID-19 Response
RingMD continues to work tirelessly to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. First and foremost, we applaud all of the frontline essential workers that continue to serve their communities during this crisis – healthcare workers, emergency service workers, food service workers, and postal workers, just to name a few.
Second, in early March RingMD offered a non-customizable, limited-functionality version of our platform at no cost (or substantially discounted) to certain small non-profit healthcare providers who were in immediate need and unable to afford a solution to service their patients. Unfortunately, due to a poorly worded press release our attempt at charity backfired, with certain providers being told that they did not qualify for the offering and still others realizing that the limited functionality of the free version would not meet their needs. For this reason, we quickly shut down this program. We apologize for any confusion that this may have caused.
Third, it has been the greatest honor of our lives to partner with governments, other businesses, and healthcare workers during this time of crisis for the common goal of saving lives. Working together our efforts have brought important digital solutions to entire populations with great expediency. We realize that there is more work to be done and we are committed to being a positive agent of change.
